Healing Nest Foundation, child developmental therapy center

I worked with underprivileged neurotypical and neurodivergent children to understand how sensory and procedural processing influence communication. Drawing on research in movement and expressive arts therapy, I co-facilitated modules that used rhythm, visual cues, and creative play to stimulate alternative neural pathways. Observing how children responded to multisensory prompts deepened my understanding of how the brain can re-route communication and emotion through embodied expression - a reminder that progress in therapy often begins with sensitivity preceding intervention.

The Education Alliance, Non-profit Supporting Education Reform in India

I worked under the Organisation Development (Human Resource) team to strengthen recruitment and professional learning systems. I helped design a targeted outreach strategy and applicant FAQ to improve candidate alignment and built a structured intern feedback database to inform future policy. I also ideated for and created Linkedin pitch videos, which were inclusive, efficient, and aligned with The Education Alliance’s missions. Curating professional-development resources across departments deepened my understanding of how design and data can advance equity in education.

Fortis Hospital, Department of Mental Health

I engaged in a series of workshops and discussions led by clinical psychologists. These sessions offered an overview of therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Rational-Emotive Behaviour Therapy, and Expressive Art-based Therapy, while highlighting the ethical responsibilities that underpin effective psychological practice. Through interactive case study discussions, I witnessed how professionals navigate patient confidentiality and boundary-setting while addressing diverse mental health concerns - from mood and anxiety disorders to psychosomatic conditions. Overall, this experience fostered a nuanced appreciation for the complexity of balancing compassion with objectivity.
